Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took his GOP-blasting rhetoric to a new level Monday, comparing Republicans who oppose health care reform to lawmakers who clung to the institution of slavery more than a century ago.
Oh. OK. Well, then by all means Pinky, we can play that game. If you want government involved in health care, go get some constitutional amendments ratified allowing you to do so. Because that (along with a bit of an armed dust up) was what was needed to settle that question.
Good luck with that. In the mean time Congress can stop debating it.
On the other hand Hatch, Chambliss, and Coburn should stop pretending to be insulted by the left’s race baiting. Just make the “jerk off” motion in response, because that’s really all the response it warrants.
